What I Think About This Product:
I have naturally thick eyebrows and I also prefer them to be thick, dark and defined which usually cannot be achieved when you do threading. They eventually becomes lighter and thin when a shape & arch is given to them. So, to achieve the thickness by filling the gaps and to provide the definition, I decided to buy the Rimmel Professional Eyebrow pencil.
This is my first purchase for eyebrow stuff and I quite liked it. It is available in shades Dark Brown-001, Hazel-002, Black-004. Due to manufacturing change, black is now black brown.The shade I bought is 004-Black Brown which I think is a perfect shade for me.The packaging is OK. Not very overwhelming to me. The cap comes with a brush which has very hard strands. This brush is for combing your hair & also for spreading out evenly the product on your eyebrows. I feel this spread thing is very important when you are giving a proper arch & shape to your eyebrows otherwise you will end up giving your eyebrow unnatural look.
The pencil itself is not too hard that you have to stab yourself to get any application neither too soft to be prone to breakage. The texture is kind of waxy. You just need to give gentle strokes to your eyebrows during application, for any sharp edges, use the brush with light hand (as the brush is already very hard) and you will get rid of harsh edges. This pencil fills the gaps quite efficiently and gives a very natural look. I use it almost everyday to define me eyebrows.
Folks out there might not like it if they don't fancy any kind of pencils which require sharpening. I don't find any problem to use sharpener so I am very happy with this pencil.Coming towards it's pigmentation, you can see in the photo that it is very pigmented and does not fade away after the whole day which is a Hit I must say!.The only problem with this is the availability of shades. If you can't find the right shade for you, then it would definitely be a big miss for you.
Overall I am quite satisfied with my purchase and would love to repurchase it.
