Rimmel's Kate Moss Lasting Finish Lipsticks are considered top-notch among the drugstore lipsticks and I kinda think the same. Last year I bought this lipstick because the color seemed very fascination & captivating to me. I am a person who drools over the corals, orangish-red lipstick shades. So that was the reason I grabbed this beauty straight off.
The chic, matte black packaging with Kate’s signature & embossed Rimmel logo is one of the best packaged drugstore lipstick I have seen to date.Coming towards the lipstick itself, the shade is gorgeous red with coral hints popping out of it. The reason why I used the "hints' is that the corals are more prominent in day light and when observed the shade at night, it will look more reddish (You can see in picture above). I took lots of pictures to understand the shade and here is the result you can conclude from the picture above.
The formula is creamy, well pigmented with semi matte finish to it. The grip in the creamy texture hugs lips & lines very snugly. This coral red shade would look smoldering hot in summers and would be a perfect shade for coral lovers. It will suit both warm and cool skin tone unlike the coral peachy shades which appear pale on warm skin tone.. The thing which I felt that it kinda accentuated the dry patches of my lips in spite of being creamy formula and didn't hydrate them (neither it claimed so) . I tried lip balm underneath but it didn't work too. If you try more strokes on your lips to hide or hydrate the patches, it will further amplify them.
The lasting power of lipstick is quite enough to go upto good 4 hours because of being the brighter shade.It does not fade itself unless you eat, drink or you have lip biting habit. To increase the staying power, use a lip liner with it. This lipstick would look flattering with smokey eyes ( The famous red & black combo). For giving life to your no-makeup-face, it will be the soundest choice!!!
Overall I am pretty much happy with the product and I am planning to try out more shades from the Kate Moss collection. The only thing which didn't please me was the prominent dry patches but I think it's the matter with dry lips not with the lipstick.Also, I wish Rimmel has given a name to the shade instead of a number.
Ohhh!! I forgot to mention that it smells so fruity yummy (but has no taste) as you are standing in a candy shop, you will feel like eating it!

It is available in Pakistan at all leading superstores with the price tag of 850rs.I got mine from Naheed Supermarket. In KSA, Kate Moss collection is available at all Rimmel Counters.
